The show streams at a rate of 32 kilobits per second. Most dial-up modem Internet connections should be able to sustain the download speed necessary to provide uninterrupted playback of the streams.

When I click the "Listen Live" button, nothing happens or my browser closes..

First, make sure that RealPlayer (10.0 or above) is installed on your computer. If it isn’t, you can download it FREE by clicking here. Users of Windows 7 will have to re-download and re-install RealPlayer. To download the most recent version of the FREE RealPlayer for your operating system, please click here.With RealPlayer (Version 10.0 or above) installed, try quitting and restarting your browser. Then, click the "Listen Now" link on our home page again. If nothing continues to happen, your browser may not be able to automatically opening up RealPlayer (via an installed plug-in). In this case, we suggest using a current version of Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer.

When I click the "Listen Now" button, I get a "Page Cannot Be Displayed" error.

This is caused by another application on your computer not allowing RealPlayer to play the link. You have two choices:

A) Copy-and-Paste rtsp://stocksandjocksshow.com/encoder/show.rm directly into the "File --> Open" location of RealPlayer.

B) Select RealPlayer as your default media player and then click the "Listen Now" link on our home page again.

If you own an MP3 player (such as an iPod) you may download the archived show for free from either the Archives page or through "Stocks and Jocks" on iTunes. Be sure to rate the show on iTunes!

NOTE: The iTunes Store may not necessarily SHOW the latest episodes immediately ("iTunes Store lag"). This sometimes happens even after the site has been "pinged". However, if you SUBSCRIBE to the "Stocks and Jocks" podcast (click the Subscribe button under the S&J logo) the most recent shows will automatically download to your iTunes client. So, if you do not see our LATEST episode displayed in the iTunes Store -- don't worry -- just SUBSCRIBE to the "Stocks And Jocks" podcast to ensure that you will have the latest episode downloaded to your iTunes client.
